how to add subdomain in blogger

Today I am going to share with you how to add a subdomain to Blogger. The process of using subdomains in Blogger is very simple. Many websites can be created by purchasing any root domain through subdomains

You must purchase a custom domain to use subdomains in Blogger. I bought the domain from hostinger. So today I will show the whole process with hostinger.

Here if you have bought a domain from another company then the process will be a little different but all the options will be the same.

So let's see how to add a subdomain to Blogger.

Here I will discuss all the process step-by-step with hostinger

  • Create a blogger website first.
  • Then click on three lines in the top left corner
  • Then click on the setting option below
  • Then find the custom domain option
  • And clicking on the custom option will open a pop-up box
  • You have to enter your subdomain name there
  • Like - blog.yourdomail.com
  • And if you click on the save option below, an error message will appear
  • Copy Name & Destination from there as shown in the image
Copy Name & Destination from there as shown in the image
  • Which will then be pasted into the hostinger

This process stays so far here so let's move on to hostinger

Now that the Name & Destination has been copied from Blogger, save it well in Notepad because later you have to pest it in hostinger.

You can buy domains from any company. I am using hostinger as an example

  • First login to your hostinger account
  • Then click on the Manage option on the right side of the domain for which you want to create a subdomain
    click on the Manage option
  • Then click on the DNS / Nameservers option above.
click on the DNS / Nameservers option above
  • Then find the Manage DNS records option
  • Here you have to add 6 records
  • Here you need to add four 'A' records and two 'CNAME' records
  • The name & Destination that was copied from Blogger to Notepad should be posted here. As shown in the picture.
    Add all dns records
  • And all the rest of the records are the same.
  • Once all the records have been added, refresh the page to see if the records have been added.

If all the records are correct then wait 2 hours.

Return to Blogger's settings page after two hours

And click on the option at the bottom

See your subdomain will be added
